A timid young man named Jimmy is bullied into covering up the accidental murder of his roommate, by his coke-addicted, antagonizing friend named Grant. As the evening wears on, Jimmy struggles to keep his mind and his guilt in check, while simultaneously entertaining a young woman named Kelly, and dealing with Grant's menacing temper.
