An adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe's chilling story of terror, murder and insanity. A young Man becomes obsessively terrified of the sickly eye of the old man whom he cares for. All is seen from the perspective of the protagonist in a world inhabited entirely by puppets, which play all of the characters. The heightened reality of this disturbing puppet world reflects the near dream quality of the protagonist's mental state, his perception and his stretched and twisted memory.
